Sungwon Jung is a Ph.D. student in the School of Journalism and Media at the University of Texas at Austin. She received her M.S. in Digital Analytics and B.A. in Sociology from Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea. Her research mainly focuses on analyzing social media user behavior and detecting misinformation using computational methods such as machine learning and deep learning.
